Designed in Burleigh Heads, after a bike went missing

Track My Bike started the way a lot of good products do — with a problem we could not buy our way out of. Our founder is an electronic engineer here in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. His bike was stolen. He went looking for a tracker he could hide on the replacement, and found that every option on the shelf was built to be found: it chirps, a thief hears it, the tracker goes in a bin and the bike disappears anyway.

So he designed his own. Every product we sell is designed here in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, around a single idea — a tracker the thief never knows is there.

Shipped silent

Every other Find My accessory ships with its anti-stalking audible alert switched on. After a few hours away from its owner, it starts beeping. That is a sensible feature if someone is tracking you. It is a useless one if someone has taken your bike, because the beep tells the thief exactly where to look and exactly what to remove — which is what renders an off-the-shelf AirTag useless as an anti-theft device.

We are the only company in the world shipping bike trackers with that audible alert disabled by us before it ships. A hidden tracker stays hidden. We do that ourselves, on every unit — it is not how they leave the factory.
